What is a jurisdiction?

You’ll see references to jurisdictions in several locations throughout Electable. A jurisdiction is the government entity to which a position belongs.

Adding these to a race and referenda is critical to users being able to find these organically. On the creation and administration panels of both, news outlets will find an autocomplete field that will provide a list of matching records. Click on the correct one or use up and down arrows and the enter button.

How are these generated?
