Premium feature: Ask candidates your own questions

by March 22, 2015

Local candidate profiles serve as a great tool for voters; but the more personalized the information, the better the profile.

News outlets may add the Electable custom questionnaire feature to their account and then pose targeted questions to races.

Asking these questions engages local candidates and provides them with detailed profile pages. Uses Electable as the tool to connect with candidates provides a win-win. For print media, transcribing these answers into a Q and A is very simple.

Good questions may be:

  • Last year, the city council proposed a tax hike. Do you support their efforts or would you have done something differently?
  • The school district is operating at a budget deficit. How would propose fixing that?
  • How best can the city attract new business to the area?
  • The state has proposed a new highway through the city. Do you support this road?
